The climate of Qatar is hot and dry, being pleasant in winter and extremely hot in summer. Short intermediary periods separate the two main seasons. HOW TO GET THERE The Doha international Airport is about 8 km from the city centre, with Doha’s Corniche, the old city centre and the business district all within 15 minutes drive. Most hotels will arrange airport transfers. Several rent-a-car agencies have offices inside the Arrivals terminal, and metered taxis are readily available outside.
