Malaga is a large city of the Andalusia region with over 560.000 inhabitants, located in the south of Spanish. Situated next to the Mediterranean, it has a mild weather and is also the hometown of the famous artist Picasso.
This city is easy to visit in a couple of days, and has available many possible activities and places to see. The city has plenty of the Moorish occupation landmarks, especially in the historic centre and particularly in the Alcazaba.

ORIENTATION
Malaga located in southern Spain along the Mediterranean Sea. It is only 100 km away from the Strait of Gibraltar. The city is surrounded by the seven more important cities of Andalusia: Granada, Sevilla, Almeria, Cordoba, Huelva, Cadiz and Jaen.
BEST TIME TO GO
Malaga has a Mediterranean-Subtropical type of weather. The winters are pleasant and the summers are hot. The best time to go would be between June and September, with temperatures oscillating between 19 and 30 ºC.
HOW TO GET THERE
Malaga has an international airport with many low cost companies flying there. You can get a train, a bus or a taxi (€15) to the city centre, or even hire a car. The bus (no. 19) runs every 30 minutes and costs €1.10.
TRAVELLING AROUND
The buses and trains work very well and are a cheap option, connecting the most important point ion the city. Walking through the city also a great way to explore and get to know it.
