La Báscula is a vegetarian restaurant in the Born area. It's an old chocolate factory, and still has the original scales used for weighing as part of the floor just inside the entrance.

The menu has a good select of salads, crepes, pastas and sandwiches and cakes, all made on the premises and reasonably priced.

An impressive list of drinks runs from chai to Gliwein, taking in cocktails, milkshakes, smoothies and iced tea.

It is only open evenings from Wednesday to Friday, and on Saturdays you can also go for lunch.
