ORIENTATION
- Luxury: the best hotels in Panama City are in the regions El Cangrejo and banking area. Casco Viejo is the charming cobblestone streets with renovated buildings, which can be rented.
- Moderate: Cerro Ancon / Balboa and Marbella are full of moderately priced hotels.
HOW TO GET THERE
Tocumen International Airport is 21 kms from Panama City. Most hotels offer vans to fly the route. Another option are taxis.
GETTING AROUND
There are buses, but the system is confusing. Longer worth taking a taxi - are safer, are not expensive and are everywhere. The best way to meet the Casco Viejo, however, is on foot.
