Indonesia has two seasons: the rainy and the dry, and both of them are relative as there is significant regional variation. In most of the country (including Java and Bali) the dry season goes from April to October, and the wet season from November to March.

 

HOW TO GET THERE

 

Java: Jakarta Airport (Soekarno-Hatta) is 20km (13 miles) northwest of Jakarta city centre. There are taxis and buses to the city centre.

 Bali: Denpasar Airport (Ngurah Rai) is 13km (8 miles) southwest of Denpasar city centre, is the main airport on Bali. There are buses and taxis to the city centre and for the most important resorts.
